Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker and Converse collaborated for his own ‘Chuck 70’ shoe, which will be released Wednesday at Converse.com and the SNKRS app.
The shoes will be priced at $95.
Converse released an Instagram video Tuesday that shows Booker breaking down the shoe.
Among the features in the shoe are a license plate on the back of it, which Booker said pays homage to the first classic car he bought.
“Just kept it real simple,” Booker said in the video. “You can really do anything you want with this. You can paint it, you can bleach it. That’s the goal with everything I do: clean, classic and timeless.”
Booker is just 26 years old but has been praised for his maturity in his game by older players. That seems to be emblematic of his personality with his classic looks and vehicles.
Booker and the Suns face the Los Angeles Clippers in their first-round series of the NBA playoffs. Game 1 will be Sunday at Footprint Center in Phoenix at a time to be determined.
