Kevin Durant unveils ‘KD 16’; will debut shoe in NBA playoffs

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant unveiled his latest addition of his signature shoe, the ‘KD 16.’

Durant is expected to wear the shoe during the Suns’ 2023 postseason run. Durant is 8-0 with Phoenix since he was traded to the team Feb. 8 for beloved forwards Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson, among other assets. 

In those contests, Durant has averaged 26.0 points on 57 percent shooting (53.7 percent from 3-point range) with 6.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. 

SneakerFiles said in a story the KD 16 will release May 5 in a ‘Vivid Orange’ color way.
