The Phoenix Suns are decorating crosswalks for their 2023 playoff run.
A story by 91.5 KZJJ reports the team’s purple and orange colors will be added to the following intersections near Footprint Center, the Suns’ home arena: Jefferson Street at Central Avenue, 1st Street, Second Street and Third Street. Per the story, the team will cover installation and removal costs.
The Suns, the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, face the Los Angeles Clippers, the No. 5 seed, in their first-round series. Game 1 will be between the teams Sunday at 5 p.m at Footprint Center.
The Suns hold homecourt advantage for the best of seven series, which means they will have four of the contests (Games 1, 2 and potentially 5 and 7) at home.
