Kevin Durant, Devin Booker among top-10 selling jerseys in second half of NBA season

Phoenix Suns superstars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have arguably been the best duo in the NBA since Durant was traded to the team in February. That dominance has reflected in NBA Store sales.

According to the league, Durant and Booker are No. 6 and No. 7, respectively, in top-selling jerseys for the second half of the 2022-23 season. It is unclear if the sales include Durant's jersey with the Brooklyn Nets or just the Suns.

Durant, who has played eight games with the Suns, has quickly been embraced by Phoenix's community. He has averaged 26.0 points on 57 percent shooting (53.7 percent from 3-point range) with 6.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in that span.

In 47 games played this season with the Suns and Nets, Durant became the first player in league history to shoot above 55 percent from the field, 40 percent from 3-point range and 90 percent from the free-throw line. However, most statistics will not qualify for league leaders since he played fewer than 58 games.

Booker, now in his eighth season with the Suns, averaged a career-best 27.8 points on 49.4 percent shooting (35.1 percent from 3-point range) with 5.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 53 games.

Durant and Booker became the highest-scoring duo (290 points) in their first five games as teammates since 1962-63, when Wilt Chamberlain was a member of the San Francisco Warriors.

Booker scored 37, 35 and 36 points, respectively, in his first three games with Durant as a teammate and averaged 24.0 points on 43.5 percent shooting (21.2 percent from 3-point range) with 6.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals in their last five games together.
